NWP attends Annual Employability Fair at Runshaw College
On the 3rd April, Runshaw College held their annual employability fair which is aimed at students looking for advice on employment or further education upon completion of their course/s. For NWP it offer a great opportunity to exhibit, as a local company, and to talk to interested students looking for a career in engineering.
This year Shaun Reeve and Dan Naylor attended, to offer any advice on progressing from Engineering BTEC’s into apprenticeships, graduate training programmes or higher level academic learning. With both having entered into NWP through one of these routes, they stand in an experienced position to be able to reflect on the various options available to students interested in an engineering career. With several students taking the opportunity to speak with them, it reflects well on our position within the local community.
With a track record in developing apprentices, graduates and sponsoring employees through degree programmes, NWP is passionate about developing the skills required to ensure a smooth and stable future for the company and engineering as a whole.
