We aim to fulfil our socio economic aspirations and responsibilities by participating in and supporting the delivery of key services and practices that will support employment, training and development of local staff and encourage utilisation of local supply chains.
Our aim is to support the local offices and to nurture the wider supply chain in industrial regeneration. We want to provide community support and volunteering opportunities wherever possible which provide a social or economic benefit in and around the areas within which we operate.
We are committed to supporting socio economic growth within the nuclear industry and this will be achieved by;
- Creating sustainable employment
Employing the full spectrum of the working population, with a commitment to reducing carbon footprint by employing locally based staff wherever possible from the Chorley and Westlakes areas.
- Continued investment in training and skills development
Working closely with local schools and colleges, we aim to support the development of skills and education for students of all ages and levels in Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) as well as promoting professional careers in engineering. We aim to continue to actively support graduate and apprenticeship placements in both the Chorley and Westlakes office.
Where appropriate making effective links in the local community and to provide investment for local sport, health, cultural, environmental and charitable initiatives. We also aim to support fundraising events in local schools and charitable organisations as well as hosting our own initiatives to raise money for worthwhile local charities.

To continuously strive to develop long term relationships and partnerships with the local supply chain and encourage key stakeholder support and collaborations. Maintain a successful track record in placing contracts with the local supply chain.
