Charity bike ride in aid of Cancer Research UK
On Sunday 25th of March, John Mulligan of North West Projects and Neil Marshall of BBNS took part in a Charity Bike Ride across Cheshire.
3000 riders took part in the Wiggle ‘Cheshire Cat 2012’, choosing a 45, 75 or 100 mile route, of which John did 75 miles and Neil did 100 miles!
The routes take in some wonderful Cheshire countryside, mainly along quiet lanes, along with several not-so-wonderful hills!
They were fortunate enough to view Jodrell Bank from a ridge after one particular climb, then later saw it at close quarters back down on the plain, an impressive sight in the sunshine.
The ‘Mow Cop’ hill has such a reputation, they give you a medal if you ride up it without stopping. Both John & Neil picked up their medals at the finish – well done to both!
John and Neil both passed on their personal thanks to North West Projects for getting involved and contributing to their chosen charity ‘Cancer Research UK’.
