Founded in 1987, North West Projects Ltd is an engineering design company with a primary focus on the nuclear decommissioning sector. Our core capabilities are the provision of Mechanical and CE&I engineering design and project management. Additional services include Process Engineering, HVAC, and CS&A design.
In recent years North West Projects Ltd has successfully undertaken and delivered over 3000 projects of values from £10,000 to over £10,000,000. Our portfolio of projects undertaken includes many of the Nuclear Decommissioning Authorities most challenging projects.

What We Do

  • Mechanical Engineering Design

    Our Mechanical Engineering department applies the principles of engineering, physics, and materials science for the design, manufacturing, and maintenance of mechanical systems.

  • CE&I Engineering Design

    The CE&I Engineering division deals with the study and application of electricity, telecommunications, control systems, and instrumentation.

  • Stress Analysis

    Our Stress Analysis team cover methods determining the stresses and strains in materials and structures subjected to forces or loads.

  • Project Management

    The Project Management capability undertake the initiating, planning, executing, controlling, and closing the work of a team to achieve specific goals and meet specific success criteria.

  • Engineering Substantiation

    Engineering substantiation is the process of proving, with sufficient evidence, that a proposed design or industrial process is both fit for purpose and is inherently safe.
